Voici une autre version de Oldcanyon, 120 heures de calcul, détail 1 A-A 5,MPVC![attachimg=#]

Awesome.  These are the dreams that TG2 is made of.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

NWsenior07

Calico nailed it. this is simply incredible.

J'aime vraiment bien cette image, l'ambiance qui s'en dégage et surtout la mise en lumière !

Google Translation : "I really like this image, the atmosphere that surrounds it and especially the setting light!"

Systran : "I really like this image, the environment which emerges some and especially the setting in light!"

LEC Translation : "I like this picture really well, the ambiance that clears itself of it and especially the setting in light!"

Kevin F

Beautiful, but detail level 1 is not needed.

robfigee

This is really magnificent. One of the best I've seen on this Forum. Only drawback is the enormous rendering time.

Interesting lighting on the various distances... how did you do that? High Environment light?
Howgh!

old_blaggard

Beautiful image!  I feel that the background colors are a bit too desaturated compared to those in the foreground, but except for that, the image, and especially the sense of scale, is fantastic.

Just atmo setting and ajust gamma correction and contrast setting in render effects, thank all for comments!

Very good looking strata, like them very much :)
Though I have some crits/comments on the overall appearance:
somehow you managed to get big differences in the coloring of your surfaces, which firstly is very nice but on the other hand a bit strange because the difference in lighting is somewhat big. I guess you're using quite some imageprojection techniques, like in your last image you've posted?
I don't really agree wit Kevin F about detail 1. For detail 1 it is still a bit noizy, maybe increasing AA would also help, but maybe it is also because of imageprojection.
If I am right about that of course :)
Another strong point is the hot looking atmosphere, nice work on the haze!
In overall still a very good image.
Oh and by the way....120 hours of rendering: I assume this has been rendered with TGTP2?

Well I rarely disagree with O-B but in this case I'm afraid that I do.  Only I hasten to add, with reference to the levels of desaturation he didn't like.  Sorry O-B, but to my eye he has hit it spot on, together with the haze levels and the clarity of the near foreground.  Truly a marvellous render, some of the surfaces almost look like he has applied SSS.  No matter, it works beautifully.  Well done.

I used no projection of image, surfaces are made with power fractal shader without any bumpmaping!!120 hours with TGTP3 ,Q6600

Ah really? Wow, I'm surprised to say the least. 120 hours with the 3rd preview...why did it take so long? High GI settings? (something like GI @ 4/4).
I'm also surprised you've only used powerfractals since certain areas seem to be very specifically colored, therefore my 'suspicions' ;D
