Yes. Email Planetside, and, if you are able to provide proof of your enrollment, they will give you a discount.

It's a pretty big discount actually, so you're definitely going to want to talk to them.

yes the educational version is 129 dollars us for deep without animation and 200 for deep with animation from memory

all I did is get my IT teacher to email planetside for proof that i am a student

hmm... i might in the morning... tired right now, heading to bed.  hmm... if so they can keep my money if student deep with animation is 200 which is what i payed for normal deep, if they would upgrade me to animation that'd be awesome cause I was considering it but just didn't have the cash.

It all varies. They are very busy trying to get the already overdue Terragen 2 released.

Granted, it shouldn't take 5 days. I bet Oshyan will see this thread and have someone respond to you.
