Hello,

1) it would be fine to be able to enlarge the terrain window much more (like in tg1, but the bigger the better) for a first approximative camera placement. This includes a statusline with coordinates (e.g. to put the camera easily on the top of a mountain and doing only the fine-tuning in the 3D-view)

2) the problem of cartesian coordinates on small planet was mentionend, but on the other side, using the earth and 1-arcsecond SRTM (30m gridspacing) with sidelength < 100km (exported with 3dem or global mapper) it would be convenient to use the numerical values of the original UTM-coordinates within TG2. Therefore it should be possible to shift the coordinates of the lower left corner from 0/0 to the corresponding UTM-coordinates just by linear numerical shift of the numbers. A simple popup "shift lower left corner" with two input fields for the x/y-values to be added would be sufficient.

The first point was already partly addressed in the thread about camera movement, but I wanted to show the relation to the second one

Greetings

There would be one hell of a lot of happy bunnies if PS would do this, that's for sure.
