Interesting!

When I convert a range x=-1..1 to the range the range 0..1 I use:

    new range = mix_scalar(x,1, )

You use

    new range = add_scalar(multiply_scalar(x, 0.5), 0.5)

Yours is faster and uses 3 nodes. Mine is slower but uses only two nodes.
