Just found a new bug, well not really a bug but an irritation. Sometimes when I have been working for a while I have noticed that when I do a full size render (including cropped regions) the render drops down in size so its rendering at about 80% even though it says it is rendering at 100%. After the render is complete it stays at its psudo 80% untill I max the render window and tell it to view at 100%. Telling it to view at 100% with out having the render window maxed has no effect. Not a big issue at all and it is easily fixed by closing TG down and reloading the scene but I think is is evidence of a memory leak (or something similar, what do I know ;) )somewhere.

I've also experienced this.

Hi Richard,

What size render were you trying to do, and what is your screen resolution?

Have you read the Render window documentation here?

This isn't evidence of a memory leak. It is possible to have bugs which aren't memory leaks :-).

Hi Jo
Yes I have checked the documentation and this is not a listed "feature" :)
It seems to occurred most recently when I was rendering an image at 1000x750 (VxH). The first couple of times it rendered fine, cropped and full, but after a few renders it would drop to a smaller window size (even if I closed down the window) of about 80% but still tell me that it was rendering at 100%. Changing the view value to 100% or best fit made no difference either during the render or after its completion. The saved image is of course of the right size. Its ok again if I close TG down and restart. Its not really a big issue but may be indicative of a more serious problem. I guess it could just be a display driver issue so I'll re-download the latest Nvidia drivers when I get back.

I know that if you use the "R" render button under the view menu and move the window so the window bar is off the top of your screen and hit render the window will decrease to a smaller size but it will expand to the full render size when the render completes. But to not return to that size is weird, especially if the image is not larger than your screen resolution
