Fractal fun! Good to see this in TG2. I remember some old TG 0.9 fractal experiments, but haven't seen much on this in a while. Nice work, though could use a bit more detail/AA.

I have'nt purchased the commercial version of TG2 yet.
for those 3 renders I used a detail level of 1 and a AA of 3.

I created the fractal in GIMP with the fractal explorer filter and used used it as a mask for the luminosity.

I know it's not what the focus is supposed to be on but how did you get that thin, bright horizon on the second render? I've seen it a couple of times but can never seem to restrict the spread in the right way.

I placed the sun in the upper right corner, and checked off Visible Disc
I also have two atmosphere nodes set up.
and the cirrus clouds also add to it as well.
