foreground seems a little plastic and flat, middle distance and background look very promising...keep tweaking!

Agree w/Inky on the foreground "Plastic looking"  IMO the reeds need to be scaled down a bit With some minor tweaks this can be a great image

yeah, I tend too agree with the others. Great image apart from the foreground.

Thanks guys. I have power fractals linked and merged to create the colour and displacement on the rocks, but it seems to do nothing. Anyone know how to use the voronoi properly? Some people have made good rocks this way, but I get no pattern showing up.

have you used my fake stones with voronoi?
it should be pretty easy to adapt for different scales of stones, if you adjust the xyz parameters in the voronoi group!
