I've been learning the thick snow method, using the Painter Shader.  I used no sunlight and put to work the idea of Moodflow and DandelO and anyone else who has been using GI lighting.  The tree is from Floraworks.

I see the lines and don't know why they are there.  Maybe something under the snow that is in the underlying terrain.  I'll probably try some different points of view.

Please give me your opinions and ideas.

Nice thick application of deep snow. Maybe you could accompany the image with your Intersect Underlying data, as we are all (Planetside included I suspect) on a learning curve with this topic.

I hope I realise I don't exist before I apparently die.

I used Saurav's Thick Snow and Volker's 100mm Shader's (from a lesson from Volker).  Simple setup.  The Paint Shader responds to thickness by coloring over the same areas twice (or more) with default settings for Paint and some additionally smaller changes for effect with the Erase.
