cascading waters

An attempt at cascading water. What do you think? I'm not sure but it's quite a nice effect.
Some bits are really accurate and some are just not quite right some how.
Still we live and learn!

You're definitely on the right track. If you could get it to look a little less stretched and a little more "blobby," I think it would look even better.

There's water in the picture?
Looks nice to me, although I can't figure out the angle with which I have to look on this picture. Reminds me of some 3D stuff where I couldn't figure out what I should see. Anyway, the thing that my visual cortex makes out of it is a canvas with some thick oilpaint on it, looks very artistic to me

I do like that render and technique ... else I agree with MacGyver, it is not clear if the water runs up or down at some areas.
