Looks like Otakar is our champion and can now take The Ring to Mount Doom.  Good luck!

In all seriousness, congratualtions, Otakar!  You're image was imaginative and well done.

Thanks for everyone's participation.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Wow, I am completely surprised! Some of the works posted on this forum just blow me away and I know I am a long way from achieving such stunning results.

Thanks to all the fellow participants in the contest and the voters. I liked the diversity of the submissions. I need to say that I think if DandelO had entered his Argonath image, it would have been a winner. This was certainly an entertaining topic and enjoyable contest. Calico, thanks for volunteering to organize it. Hopefully, we'll get more people to participate next time. ;)

Well done, Otakar! :)

I don't think so. Your image showed the most originality and for certain, the best render pov. It's the overall feel of the scene that done it for me. It just has that extra something. The tiny feel of the house looking over the rolling Shire is great. Great job!

I thought my Argonath was too much viewed to still be of any interest to anyone at this late date, I do like it better than the Nazgul image, too. Wish I hadn't shared it so early because I would have entered it. :) Oh, well. Next time...

What's the next theme? Do we let the winner choose the topic or is it down to an open vote again?

Hi,

Congratulations Otakar :-). I voted for your image mainly because it was something different, different even to things I've seen in the image sharing section, and it also captured the theme well. There was just something about it which made me smile, even if technically some of the others may have been "better".

Arisdemos' entry was certainly also different, and it was amusing, but also kind of a bit too ghastly ;-). No offence intended, of course.

Regards,

Jo

Sounds fine to me.  Maybe the winner can give some ideas and then we vote to narrow it down.  I'm open to anything, mostly.

Hi Jo  I can honestly say that this is the forst time anything I have created has been called "ghastly," but I guess where I come from we call it.... gnarly!.
