Agreed. Although, I'm not sure I understand why JPG compression does such a poor job. I would imagine it isn't as obvious saving a JPG just once, since most people wouldn't care or, if they did care, most couldn't see a difference. Something I'm convinced about here (on this site) as well as other CG sites is that quality is sometimes an exaggerated commodity or even a matter of opinion more than it is about quality or expertise.
