I'm really happy with how this one turned out.

Hope you guys like it too!

These rocks look pretty cool!
I'd say the scales of the trees are a bit off, but that's also just how you look at it.
To me I'd say an average human is twice or three times the size of a tree in your image.

Some of the displacements look really good by the way, especially in the foreground I mean.
All fake stones or also powerfractal?

Thanks for the comments - I think it's the boulders which are causing the scale offset - they are huge stones - hence the small trees?

It was supposed to look like huge chunks of rock from the Cliff face had fallen down.

It makes sense to me - but I got lost in the picture working on it for a few hours!

Perspective ; An interesting concept!!

All disp is using a fake stone shader.

You're right about that of course. Like I said: it's just how you (want to) look at it.
My first impression was: nice big boulder, but very tiny trees (bonzai :)).
On 4th and 5th look now I have a better vision of the scales.
It wasn't really obvious for me at first sight, but I'm also a bit tired so better blame that :)

All fake stones, very cool!

Thanks!

I'm glad it wasn't JUST me!

I'm sure Calico will see it in some way neither of us has considered!  ::)

The trees on the far side of the water look amazing!

Good work. I particularly like the texture on that mid-distance cliff on the right. I see you've got a few exploding fake stones. I think you mean Xfrog Fir Trees, not Ferns for the distant trees.

I hope I realise I don't exist before I apparently die.

Without grass, sometimes trees look out of place in TG2.  I struggle with what works, since in nature trees seem to just grow about anywhere.  It's sort of a challenge to find a good place for trees.  Anyway, great displacements.

TU's insight is always spot-on, but I'm happy to give my opinion, if asked.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?
