The top of this volcano (eruption) is perfect!
You used a cloud to do this?

Thx for the comments.

The eruption is made of 3 elements:

1:  a "normal" 3d cumulus cloud

2:  3d cumulus clouds with a very small scale (the red lava drops)

3:  a strong light source inside the crater

Both cloud layers are controlled by the same painted shader.

Very impressive. One suggestion - another cumulus that is much darker, suggesting smoke.
