I am looking to render very big files , but it does not work , when are you planning to implement a way to render gig files as a set of smaller images which can be stitched together automatically afterward  , as in Pandromedia Mojo world , this would be a very good move , especially if your are looking to render files of hundreds of giga , so for when could we expected this very clever move

Thanks

Render resolution and quality is only limited to your specifications, if you have a registered copy of TG2. If you don't have enough RAM, then you'll need to crop the renders. TG2 already provides this functionality in the render properties. It even offers a blending border to make stitching them together smoothly a bit easier.

Actually crop rendering is not a "cure all" for memory issues. With very large render resolutions, you will still run into memory issues because it creates an image buffer for the entire image, even with cropping. I agree that we need the ability to render at larger resolutions, and with less memory issues in the future. Moving to 64 bit will help, but more specific support for memory saving rendering strategies (render to disk) is probably necessary. Remember also that with such large render resolutions, you will have very long render times in most cases.
