Thanks, great.
Do these need to go through another app before using in TG2, tried downloading the Grand canyon east and west. The files had no extension and failed to load properly as Heightfield load". Suggestions :)

I have been to that page before, you need to convert them to a .ter file with 3DEM,
or some other program like it, for it to work.

Aye, sorry, should have said that too. 3dem will do the job.

Terragen2 will load .geotiff format dems, although without a world file the heights will be off.
