I don't know where to find this data to try in TG2 but it looks interesting...

NASA and Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and industry (METI) released the Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (ASTER) Global Digital Elevation Model (GDEM) to the worldwide public on June 29, 2009.

The data is available here:
http://asterweb.jpl.nasa.gov/gdem.asp
There is a system called WIST Warehouse Inventory Search Tool that allows you to search for the ASTER files.
Haven't figured it out yet.
