As we in germany have not had a summer yet i started dreaming of some nice sunny and lonely islands and finally just built them
This is what i came up with so far...

Excellent! Though maybe you could add some more vefitaion and ground cover amongst the palm trees.

hi again,
summer finally arrived
so i have lots of time to render while chilling in the sun
thx for the comments, i added some bushwork (Mr. Lamppost's bush pack, thx to him
) and rendered a bigger version this time

Woah. Awesome! How'd you map out the terrain? I've always found islands quite difficult.

the islands were not that hard...i used a smooth big scaled powerfractal (feature: 1000; lead-in 2000; smallest: 1000) to get bumps and then restricted them with a distance shader to a certain area around a second camera...that's about it
