As we in germany have not had a summer yet i started dreaming of some nice sunny and lonely islands and finally just built them ;) :D
This is what i came up with so far... :)

Excellent! Though maybe you could add some more vefitaion and ground cover amongst the palm trees.

hi again,
summer finally arrived :D so i have lots of time to render while chilling in the sun :P
thx for the comments, i added some bushwork (Mr. Lamppost's bush pack, thx to him ;) ) and rendered a bigger version this time

Woah. Awesome! How'd you map out the terrain? I've always found islands quite difficult.
Figured out how to do clicky signatures

the islands were not that hard...i used a smooth big scaled powerfractal (feature: 1000; lead-in 2000; smallest: 1000) to get bumps and then restricted them with a distance shader to a certain area around a second camera...that's about it ;)
