Welcome back, Volker!!

Wonderful to see your work here again.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

the part of the terrain we see looks good ^^

Gannaingh

I honestly don't really know what this is (I'll assume some sort of mountainy thing)...but it looks cool ;D

Looks like a big earthnivorous monster has been biting chunks out of your terrain. Cool effect.

I hope I realise I don't exist before I apparently die.

inkydigit

I agree with zagadka and john....awesome work!

Crazy shader madness.... looks like you might get a nasty graze if you slipped over there.... ;D
I just need to tweak that texture a bit more...

Tangled-Universe

Djeez...this looks crazy :)
All this shader madness but still a WM terrain ;) :P lol

Cheers,
Martin

Volker Harun

Thanks for the positive response :)

@Martin: I had been fiddling around with WM and GeoControl now and then, and believe me, I feel much more comfortable with procedural heightfields than with the terragen's own powerfractals.
Except for the Alpine fractal shader, of course.
The good point of our most favourite rendering software is, that functions do work on heightfields, too ,-)

Now I have to continue with my Strata-Stuff ;-)

Crazy and different looks like an extreme HDR image.

@Seth: Attached is an Ortho-view of the terrain.
