Using DAZ|Studio (it's free), you can convert the following into objects that can then be used in TG2.

Thanks for the tip!
There are some nice models for sale and cheap as well :)

Especially the moss clumps for close up fake stones :)
I'm wondering if you can put those clumps (using a tgo reader) on top of a fake stones shader and also be able to control the slopes etc. using a distribution shader.
Let's try that when I'm back home :)

I'm not sure.  I haven't done as much with these as with others.  But, I know these are objects and not just 2D placards.  I'm pretty sure all of these on this page (of those I have and remember) have distinct textures, so it seems possible.

 ;D  Excellent tip Calico!

Just wish I had the funs to purchase them.

As for DAZ, will that convert any object into a format available for import into TG2?

FrankThomas

you can export anything as a .obj file from DAZ but bear in mind the 16 shader limit on the import.

(I know because I tried it :) )

Frank is correct.  D|S seems to be very good at exporting objects from various formats.  As far as the 16 texture limit, I hope that is corrected with the next update to TG2.  Still, it's something to keep in mind.  I lucked out and found a mech that had exactly 16 textures in the MTL.

Oh man, this is a real bummer:
I registred on rDNA and placed the moss clumps in my bucket, went for checkout..creditcard expired last month haha...what a bummer  ;D

Voulge,

Is this using the DAZ stuff, or just rocks with a grass texture on it?
