Fake Stone and Hero Rock V2 - updates ready to download

Hi,

I have reworked the fake stone and hero rock pack. Here is a quick demo render. You see there are no more exploded stones, and I think the hero rock made a quantum leap in quality. I have also reworked the moss.

Just a little bit of cleaning up, and I will update the pack on NWDA. It's V2 of the pack, although it should probably be V1.1, as the concept remained the same for a large part - so existing customers will get a free update in the coming days.

PS: the camera is very low to the ground, just 35 cm.

great, love the shiny pebbles

just one quibble, the lighter pebbles in the hero stones shadow, some of them seem to be illuminated ...
I'm not suggesting your at "fault" here but is light somehow penetrating the larger stone ??

I do see the odd lit spot in the rock's shadow. Wonder what that's about...

Light patches in boulder's shadow could have something to do with the boulder's displacements. Not a big problem in my eyes as a dab or two of burn in Photoshop will sort that. Great that you've eradicated exploding stones, but noticed a couple of squashed-can pebbles. Again that's just a minor glitch. I'll be buying this updated version.

I received the e-mail, followed the instructions and ordered the update. Within seconde I received the download code for the update. I click on the link.......it takes me to the download page. For the life of me I cannot seem to find where to input the download code. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind the above, I located the file. It was in my account information(under my orders)

Yossam, in the email, below the download code, there is a link.
That link has the download code already encrypted.

So if you just click on that link, it takes you to the doenload page, with your code auto filled in. You don't have to type it. The only thing that you need to do now is click on the button "start download".

a clamped ridged displacement and more specular effect will be perfect for the moss....
