Not my picture, my 10 year old daughter, Zoe's, made with a little guidance.

She has made TG 0.9 pictures before but she hopes you like her first TG2 one! :)

Thanks for looking! :)

Love it. Much better then my first (or even my latest).  :)

Wow... great start. She will be an artist if she can do this at 10! I think I was building action man camps at 10. ;D

I just need to tweak that texture a bit more...

Nice render. I think you are really proud of her.

dandelO... you've got yourself some competition  ;D

Zoe, Nice render. I like the colours used, and the foreground mist works well (a lot better than I've ever managed to do foreground mist!!  ;) ) The clouds are really nice and fluffy too. Good work. Keep at it. Badger your dad to let you use TG2 more. In fact, kick him off altogether, you're much better than he is  ;D

Thats OK, I'm sure he's got an old 386 with a couple of MB of RAM and a 100MB HDD somewhere. If he's lucky It might even have Windows 3.1 on it....

Mr Miley! You crack me up!
I currently use(and this is my only computer, life has failed me for the moment!) a single core 1.35ghz with 1gb RAM! All my renderings this past six/eight months, or so, have been done on this old P.O.S.

Here's a posted example from a few months back of the sh*t I'm trying to work with here... http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=6916.msg73711#msg73711

This is why my images of late have been very minimal, I just can't afford the render time for what I really want to do. :(

Kadri

I feel your pain dandelO.
I hope you can buy a new pc very soon. I like your renders and wish to see more from you.

Kadri.

mr-miley

dandelO.... Bummer  :( If its the rendering that gives you a problem, I have a spare twin Xeon processor ex-server sitting on our network, that is just being a company juke box at the moment (145GB of music and counting) If you want anything rendered, PM me and we'll arrange getting your files to me and I'll render whatever you want  :) No worries

Cheers, folks. I might give you a shout at some point then, Miles, if I ever get anything done that needs it. Much appreciated, man! :)

mr-miley

dandelO, No worries. As I said, it just sits there as a juke box at the mo. I frequently render on it so I can get on with some work on my work PC. I did my 669 hours, 58 mins render http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=7055.0 on this. Its not too fast, but it is VERY powerful and I can leave it rendering for as long as it takes.
