Evenin` all.   ;D

I`m a newbie both here, and to Terragen, which I`ve only come across within the last few days. Having downloaded the "Classic" version, I`m finding it to be an amazing programme !

Just a quick question to start with (though I`d wager it`ll be the first of many.... ;D), is Terragen the only (free) programme that you can actually complete the construction and rendering of a landscape down to the finished article, ie: an image/pic of the landscape that you can actually see in front of you, or do any others do the same ? I have looked at World Machine very briefly, and from what I`ve seen, you can only construct the landscape, and you have to then export it to another programme such as Terragen to actually complete the render ?

Sorry for the daft question.........!

There is Terragen 2, much beloved and the favorite here. World Construction Set, not too easy to use from what I remember in the 90's when I had it. And the much reviled and maligned Vue. Vue has many issues, it can do very good stuff, but from my experience with Vue Infinite PLE, costs much too much.

Users of Terragen 2, and Terragen Classic, get the benefit of the developers actually reading the forum. They offer advise and help solve issues very quickly. Plus, everyone here tries to help each other. In other words, Great Programs and Forum.

They just issued a tornado warning and said to stay away from windows. Does that mean I can't use my computer?
