I must agree with others.. Very nice  light and vibrant colors

Here you go Kadri.  Rendered in the Release Version (2.0.3.1)

920 x 575
Detail: 0.75
AA: 9
GI 1/4

I know it's not an exact comparison as it is much smaller in size and detail settings, but it does show that the release version is more than capable of creating a pretty similar render

Ryan , as you said direct comparison is difficult . But i think you are right . What makes this image good is your creativity and very good selection of colors and not the alpha :)
The topic subject name fits really well .

Thanks , Ryan  :)

Superb lighting, colours and comp... nice one Ryan.

I just need to tweak that texture a bit more...

Here is the updated render.  I am incredibly pleased with how it turned out this time.  The edges are fixed and the subtle bump and spec on the leaves is in my opinion much improved.  Thanks for all the suggestions!

You can find the full render here, just make sure to click through the image to get the full size:

Kinda crazy using Terragen for a mainly object-driven scene, though. :D
They just issued a tornado warning and said to stay away from windows. Does that mean I can't use my computer?

Just absolutely gorgeous ...close-ups are a significant way of bringing out the details of good objects. On the fringe of photo-realism here.

Good God man! Stop posting photographs already ;D Amazing image Ryan, you really know how to play with colors and lighting to make images pop!

Jaw droppingly, gob smackingly gorgeous! Love the spec/bump on the leaves and of course the extreme dof is great. The slightly reduced bump on the bark is much better too.

I took a look at your website last night. Very good stuff there. I did notice one of them was from Terragen 1. What was that like?

What an improvement! :o Didn't think it was possible but this is even better! I really do like the glow around the blossoms :)

Ryan , is this a try with chromatic aberration ? Sorry but i like the old one more. This looks like i have double vision to me   :)
But it is your image  ;)

Edit: Maybe if the effect was more subtle ?
