Nesting The Weevil (with Porridge Cleanup version)

The mesh for the Weevil bot/craft was created using XenoDream. It was textured in TG2, including specular/reflectivity.

Render time was 45 min @ 0.9 Detail and 9 AA.

I love it, but I think you've been cooking the used scotch malt for oatmeal. :D
XenoDream is a very cool program. This object would have made a cool looking aircraft, spaceship, or a building.

Great weevil, can I borrow it to drill some holes in my garden? I agree with Njeneb about the porridge spill. Make it a decent tunnel and it's a great scene, IMHO.

Re-textured crater rim, and also added a rim collar (guard) to stop stones and boulders getting into the silo. That was also created using XenoDream.
A bigger and, hopefully, improved render.

Anti gravity and taser/laser technology at work here ...JR, you are a futurist. Really in all, quite a creative piece of work here.
