I find it funny. During my average day, I speak english most of the time. Not my mother tongue though. So I get to speak with people from all over Europe, the UK (not really Europe, no €€), and the US. Of all nations that speak english as their primary or secondary language, I find the british hardest to understand. Really

This is true. The British Isles are not that large geographically. But travel 50 miles, and the way the language is spoken can change dramatically.
