Woohoo! Black triangles, no more! And assignable internal network nodes again! Excellent, thank you, my main gripes with 2.0 dealt with in one go. :)

EDIT: Wow, even better, shader array is great, as is the simple shape jobby, I'm going to have some fun now. Damn, I have to work in the morning! I'm on holiday after next Tuesday, though! ;)

I have noticed the speed increase while playing with it this evening.  8)  Also the object render improvement, the new cloud settings (I have to do more experimenting with these), and the new render settings (again I need to work with these). Thanks for all your hard work!

Forget Tuesday; It's just Monday spelled with a T

Oh crap, I can't get it until the next decade... :(
They just issued a tornado warning and said to stay away from windows. Does that mean I can't use my computer?

So many great improvements, it's hard to pick what I am most happy with, but here are my two:

Node names are cropped to their actual box in the network view. The network view doesn't look so messy when zoomed out!

Step optimisation for clouds - awesome.

Gosh! you have been busy. Best news for me is the extermination of the dreaded Black Triangles.

Wow, I totally missed this so far!

QuoteDisplacements applied to these objects are not seen by the ray tracer, but the displacement information is interpreted as bump to affect shading.

Does this mean I could actually use an object's bump/normal map while rendering it, or would I still need to figure a way to "map" the bump map into the object geometry? I'm not entirely sure how the image map shader works.

What a long read that was ! You definitively have been busy . I am most interested in the new rendering way of objects.
But there are many small but important improvements too it seems . I have to wait unfortunately until  January  :)

Guys i would love to see some of your old images rendered with the new build.

And i hope that there isn't new bugs coming with this new one. But that would not be abnormal  giving the nature of software making.
But i hope there aren't any of course  :)

Thanks , Planetside .

Kadri.
