Desert landscape with rocks

Cool, but:
Why are the rocks shaped like cones?
You need to set the maximum slope limit MUCH MUCH MUCH lower. It looks like the sand's clinging to the cliffs.
They just issued a tornado warning and said to stay away from windows. Does that mean I can't use my computer?

The clouds are good. You may want that big patch of over-exposure in the sky to give the feeling of desert heat, but if not, saving as OpenEXR and playing with combining exposures could help - or if you don't have the tools for that, doing a couple of renders at different exposures. Like TheBlackHole says, you may want to alter the max slope limit. Also, the jaggedness of the landscape doesn't look so good in the far distance

You might find it useful as it provides a few pointers with this type of scene; especially with applying image maps for colour strata on cliffs. It also includes some tgd's you might wish to examine.

@ TheBlackHole:        No need to shout, pal.

I hope I realise I don't exist before I apparently die.
