Light Include/Exclude List
March 14, 2010, 12:53:17 AM
Hi,
Does Terragen currently support a way of including or excluding objects from receiving light rays. ie: setting up multiple light sources yet only affecting certain objects within a scene?
Thanks

I have wanted to do this also. The only way I found is to add a light (not the sunlight option) and limit the area the light covers.

Thanks njeneb,
I'll give that a try.
Maybe an idea for implementation in future releases.

Not currently supported, but definitely something to consider for the future (and something we've heard a lot of interest in). Better general control of render include/exclude per-object/node would be great.

Per node/shader would be awesome as well indeed, for reflections etc. etc.
