still learning the game. Good at recon, ok as assault, so so as pioneer and sucks as medic.
Level 20 or so in multiplayer.

Cool game, but it has a lot of bugs.

really? I haven't noticed any major ones. At least not on the PS3, can't speak for the PC version.

Good game, had some pretty bad lag on even close servers recently.  Also yes quite a few annoying bugs from time to time.  At least they are fixing the inability to knife a persons back this week.  Last pc patch made it so if you tried to knife from behind, it would would be more like a 1/10 chance of kill...  Also bullet registration seems quite iffy at times.

But fun to play with my friends.

This bug right here has been so frustrating, but I also have the problem getting kicked out of the game for some server connection problem.
I run it on a PS3 as well.

ah, I didn't know about this stats link. I digged up mine: http://bfbc2.statsverse.com/getsigs/ps3/FB1DE

Sucks compared to yours, Neuspadrin. My K/D is inferior. But that's the fate of a recon I suppose. I try to focus on spotting so that team mates have an advantage, and not to give away my position too lightly. I have only played Squad DM so far, and only played with random squadmates, of which rarely people seem to assume their team roles, which is a pity. Sometimes, though, I get into a game with a few experts, that make really good use of my recon tactics. That makes the scores fly.

Sjefen, what's your ID?

Cheers,
Frank

I prefer rush as they are decently long matches.  I started off playing recon a lot, but then I gave the other kits a try.  I now prefer Medic, then Assault, then Recon, and Engineer last.  When I first played recon I did sniper/spotting/etc a lot.  After playing more up close an personal doing other kits, I've started doing more recon with shottys and c4.

My win/loss ratio used to be pretty bad because even as sniper I would try to defend/attack the rush points, but you just don't have the weaponry to handle that.  So if you get a sucky team you were a guaranteed loss ;).  As medic or assault though, you got a great chance setting off mcoms and defending them solo, even more so when you team up with a friend and talk on skype etc. Since switching to other clases more often my win/loss has skyrocketed and is close to breaking even.

Just went for the all weapons bronze insignia, only to find its bugged.  That hurt my kd a little since I had to use a lot of weapons I disliked ;).  Also recently got one of each pin ;).

added. I'll watch out for you next time I'm in the game and see if I can add you as a squad member.

Anyone else on PS3?

Cool. It's been a while since the last time I've played it.
I'm waiting for the patch.

I wasn't sure whether to get BF BC2 or Modern Warefare 2 in the end I went for the former (on PC) and i'm glad I did, it's alot of fun.

I've mainly been playing the medic class. The thing that confuses me is that when you unlock a new weapon, it's not necessarily a better one. The last two weapons i've unlocked i've not used because they do less damage and are less accurate so what's the point? Apart from the strange weapon stats i'm really enjoying the game though.

I may get modern warfare 2 in the future when it comes down to a responsible price.

Frank why did you get this on the PS3 BTW? I know you have a high spec CPU so as long as you have a decent gfx card you could have saved some money and got it on the PC, with your system it would probably run and look better as well. Also the patches seem to be coming to the PC a lot faster then the consoles.

For Xbox players, i've read that Natel is coming out in October, ready for Christmas presumably.

Good question. First, I've bought it in a duty free shop in Heathrow airport for 39 Pound (or 35, don't remember 100%) , which was much cheaper than in Germany. Secondly, I like the playing on the PS3 on a large screen, plus I can do it in a cozy living room instead being trapped in my small office room. And that is the main reason. Thirdly, I know the game is easier to control using a mouse and keybard combination, compared to a controller, but that "disadvantage" is levelled out because you only play against other PS3 users, so that's not an issue.

The same reasons I buy games for my PS3 :)
The only game I know I'm going to get on the PC is StarCraft II. The only genre I hate on consoles.

I had Mirror's Edge on the PC and loved the game. Lately, I've downloaded the PS3 demo and found it almost unplayable with that controller. Definitely, when ME2 comes out, I'll have it on PC too.
