Title: Off to Pasture final
Post by: choronr on April 24, 2015, 05:23:30 PM
This is an update to http://www.planetside.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic,19864.0.html as a final that includes an adjustment to the sheep population correcting their directional orientation; and, the addition of dust along the path.

First, resetting the 'a' and 'b' to 0/0 did the trick of getting almost all the sheep heading in one direction (except those at the upper part of the curve). This had to be remedied by editing each instance in the uppermost part of the curve by rotational adjustments.

When first trying to get all the sheep heading in the right direction, the outcome yielded the result of them heading south instead of north. This was fixed by testing the suggestions of Yossum and Dune where resetting the 'object' Y rotation to 180. I set it to 160 and the flock changed from south to north properly. And, thanks to Dune for the suggestion of adding some dust in the path of the sheep.

Much appreciated Ulco and Richard.

Excellent - dust really makes it.  Having shepherded sheep - they tend to wander!

Thanks Mick, the dust was the easiest part.

Worked out well, the dust does the trick for sure...Just too bad they aren't in walking poses but that would be insane as you'd need a few mixed pops of poses.

Thanks Bobby. I do have about four more poses; but, probably got too lazy and have had enough of this one. On to another project.
