Title: Choosing an application on an Imac G5
Post by: lensman on January 09, 2008, 07:59:12 PM
 ???
Hi, as a newbie to this forum, can any Mac users tell me how to open an application so that I can use this software.
I'm using an iMac G5 with OSX10.4.10 installed. When I click on the icon on my screen, I get a windo advising 'There is no default application to open the document 'TerragenMac_v09.sit' with the choice buttons of Cancel or Choose Application. When I click Choose application, a window similar to the Finder window opens titled Choose application. Some of the applications are greyed out. Where do I go from there?

.sit files are compressed files which can be opened using Stuffit Expander, which is a free download:

Yeah, I personally find Stuffit kind of irritating - using Mac OS X's built-in .zip compatibility or using a compressed .dmg would be preferable I think.
