Title: exported geometry offset issues
Post by: chris_x422 on August 05, 2009, 05:25:06 AM
I'm currently trying to hand place a complicated setup of objects in maya, using exported geometry from terragen as the base guide.

I have tried both lwo export and .ter and both seem to have the same offset issue when exported.
The scale and position in world space are correct, but the further the exported model is from 0.0.0 the more offset it becomes, ie the export seems to output geometry as if it had been produced on a flat plane, not a sphere.

The result is of course that my objects then suffer the same offset issue.

Am I just missing something while exporting?

Chris

Update.

Just realised, I can use the lwo micro exporter! works a treat, sorry.
A mod can delete this thread.

Glad you got it sorted out. I'll leave this here in case anyone else runs into the same problem.
