Here's a model I made some time ago. I didn't export the textures in the image because they dont work in terragen..so those who want to use this need to make some sort of new textures. The file in the rar is in OBJ format so texturing shouldn't be a problem. Oh and if someone actually uses this and does textures, please post it here or toss the file to me so I can update it to a one that has working textures for terragen.

Actually he ship looks really scifi with out textures. I would just add a reflective surface shader and modify the tint of the reflection. This is a very good looking model!
Yeah it actually does :D
All I need now is a starfield! ;D
Nice looking ship. - Bill .
Cheers, Freelancah. Here's a TG friendly one.
Seperate shaders for each object part now instead of the single shader that loaded up in TG with the default .obj version.
Default white body with reflectivity, transparent glass(when 'double-sided surface' is unchecked) and dark base pieces.

DandelO's image is real close to what I had in mind. Only the color choice is different. I was thinking of using reds and purples. But this looks very Boeing and works well.
Henry, just change the colour in the body shader node to anything you like, I left it at default grey for uploading but I'm messing around with it in a scene. Do I want it gold, purple, red? Ha, not sure myself yet.
Really cool ship, though!
It is a really great looking ship. Hollywood quality!
Glad to see you got it working. I hope it goes into good use ;)
Here's some alternative colours. I said I couldn't decide on a colour when I was using it so, how about a nice mulch of various different colours in one? :D

Similar to how I coloured this internal TG saucer... http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=5312.msg54811#msg54811
wow on the desert landscape. I don't suppose you could upload a .tgd of that alone? I'm new to tg2 but that would be fun to play around with.
Unfortunately, I no longer have the .tgd for that scene. It was on an older computer that I no longer have the files from. The terrain was a DEM.ter of Antelope Point, Arizona. Surface stones and colours etc were just applied over that.
