Fun little project rendered from three different cameras.  Objects from the NASA website.  Each image rendered in about an hour.  The full size individual images can be found here (just click the image for the larger size):

Thanks for taking a look!

Nice, they should have employed you in the 60's, far more convincing here! :D

Panel 1 really looks like they've stumbled onto the footpath of something LARGE! Hopefully it's just craters. ;)

Henry Blewer

Great job. I am concerned about the large footprints also.  :)

great story telling, full size views are a must!

I think the third is my favourite, as it really shows off the great attention to detail on the surfacing, plus you might not, without the other two, know what the human figures are, but in this image, their sense of isolation in an alien environment is palpable.

Cool. The background of the middle one looks a bit like a photo from the Viking lander, IMO. With the title right under it, it looks just like one of those (de)motivational posters. Great work.
They just issued a tornado warning and said to stay away from windows. Does that mean I can't use my computer?

Nice! Like the film grain.

That first one really has a ...

"Anyone remember where we parked?"

... feel to it. :)

So, how come you didn't enter (this) in the animation contest? Great 'storyboard'.

Kadri

So plain ! Nothing much displacement or other things!
Yeah and so good still  :) This is why i like these images.  So much with so little!
The only thing i would change is the glass of the helmet.

Thanks guys, glad you all liked it!  I had a great time putting it together.

Dune, I wish I could have competed in the competition, I had a ton of great ideas and scenes that would have been very cool.  Unfortunately there needs to be some people who get the difficult task of judging the entries...

Dune

Ah, right. Well, good luck! Not an easy task indeed.
