Work in progress, I'm playing with the scale of the veg in the foreground and the density of the cloud, enjoy

It looks a little like SE Asia. I think the low clouds in the valleys are just right. I would make the trees about 1/3 smaller.

Looks quite promising. Are some of the trees in the water in the foreground? May want to increase the grass population/shader density. Also, the sky colour is rather weird - unless that's what you want.

Dune

I'd decrease the wave size and roughness dramatically!

riche

Rerendered: decreased the wave scale, increased the grass and fern coverage in the foreground, may render from a different POV, just in the middle of the picture over the trees near the water.

I'd make the quality of those far backround clouds higher. They look bad. Actually, did you have low AA and detail? It appears the whole scene had low AA and detail.
Terragen: the universe in 56 kilobytes.

yea it's low aa and detail to keep the render time down, I set a high detail and 8 aa render away last night, hopefully it'll finish sometime this weekend.

Great work here, I wonder how long it will take to render ... !
Heard of computer graphics? CG? Terragen 2, the landscape generating program, also known as TG, a whole cool way to create realistic CG - with TG.
