should'nt take to long, the uv meshes aren't 100% perfect though, found some distortions in one, had to manually fix it.

finished the textures last night, but now i've ran into a different issue thats holding me back - poseray appears to be messing up the UV maps when i load the object before i export it, making it so the textures dont display correctly in the render

i'm trying blender's UV mapping system, seems like it unwraps things more correctly
lightwave seems to distort/stretch pieces of the mesh at times

Blender will do strange things also. It is crucial that the unwrap uses the object center for proper alignment.
I have found Blender UV to be a royal pain... Maybe I just need more practice with it.

had some success with blender, but still having the same problem when i load the objects into poseray
must be some sort of problem with the verts or polys
aggravating...

I had the same problem. I think that changing the mapping to cubic solved it. I don't remember exactly. It was something like that.

if only TG2 had cubic mapping...
that would simplify things a bit in my case.
