Yes, it's the return of those green maggots, but this time it's their big bad cousins!
This is a quick (4hrs!) low res version without GI. Higher res version with GI keep locking up my pc. Time for a new machine methinks.

Hey Kevin,
that´s really interesting.
The surfacing is superb, although to me the Point of view seems a bit indifferent.
With some kind of focus this would be even better.
is the maggots surface still a water shader?
I didn´t know that it can look like this.

This is awesome and revolting in equal measure  . Actually the aspect I like most is the terrain surfacing around the birth pods - it's beautifully varied in its small-scale displacements. Any chance you could share your secrets on that?
