Red Rock State Parks - there are three of them; one in New Mexico, one in Arizona; and, one in Utah. A real thrill hiking in these places.

The terrain here is by John Robertson (Schmeerlap). He had created a heightfield using GeoControl ; saved as a .ter and imported it into TG2 where he added some displacement and strata. Additionally, I added three populations of dry shrubs by Walli.

Enjoy...

Thanks Henry, I have not downloaded the new update as of yet; but will do so around middle December. Those clouds are something I've used a number of times over the past several months. My computer guru and I are doing a major overhaul of my filing system then. He is taking his final exams soon and we won't be able to get together until then. I'm as anxious as hell to upload that new version.

Beautiful light and terrain, but the birds should go, IMHO.

This is really natural, Bob. I love the lower third, the plants and surfacing look great! :)

I'm tending to agree with the birds thing; perhaps I will cage them till someone creates a decent model. Thanks Ulco.

Thank you all for stopping by.

DV likes the birds! Keep them in, strange place to find a flock of parrots, though! :D
Ulco made some nice bird models and he put them on NWDA CS. Maybe you'd find a better bird there?

Hi Martin,

This is the kind of bird I've been looking for. I made the attached image on June 11, 2006 in Terragen Classic titled 'Puma Valley'. The bird and the foreground rock were photo integrated. The image was a dedication to my brother-in-law who passed the day before.

That's a beautiful pic, Bob. The photo integration is great! :)
