Well, actually new projects.

Great job! I really like the terrain work.

I am still trying to figure out who you are. Your work seems familiar, and Oshyan(?) hinted that we would know... I have not seen the foreground plants before. They look like Walli's work.

Forget Tuesday; It's just Monday spelled with a T

Very good :)
Love the pov and shading. Maybe add just a tad of DoF and a smidgen of Chromatic Adoration.

you're never going to finish this image ;-)

A very good creation by you! The foreground is detailed beautifully and adds much depth to the scene.

Gannaingh

Well done! I would change the angle of the sun to get a bit more interesting lighting in the canyon, but that is only my preference. You have a really beautiful image here.

Onyx

Hi.. thanks for your feedbacks.

btw I am simply Onyx, I never posted here before my two previous pictures, as Oshyan told you: as some others beta testers .. so please forget that and simply appreciate (or not) my pictures.

All plants here are coming from xfrog tropical library

Tangled-Universe

Good looking work Onyx!
I liked the previous version a lot already, but I think this version is even better.
Thanks for the info on the plants, as I like the foreground models.
Did you use a DEM/heightfield for the base terrain?

Cheers,
Martin

Yes a HF is used as based terrain then modified by displacements shaders.. I have also added a large scale fractal input to HF for far mountains

For ground I have currently used my own stones lib "on going" .. you see here a sample (my current problem is it renders better in close up :-\ )

Nice work. How did you warp your strata btw?

Onyx

I don't use strata but a redirect shader

any chance of getting a peak into it?

I think he used stretched powerfractals with the built-in warping and plugs these into a redirect shader.
