Not ready, but what is missing or wrong?

Well obviously, your trademark rocket  ;) But seriously, I rather like this - the sky colour is lovely and subdued, and the mood is suitably desolate. Perhaps you could move the trees a little further away, but I honestly don't think you need change anything.

i like this one, mainly i like the mood of it, and the muddy wet ground looks good too,
well done Naoo

Hi,

I think the image's strength is in the mood, as everyone else has said, but also in the composition and ground colors. Two things look wrong to me:
1 - I think the grassy ground should extend to the tree line. The trees shouldn't be standing in water. It looks wrong to me. Not a major letdown, tough.
2 - The clouds. I don't think they are good enough for this otherwise quite perfect image. Somehow, they look stained and exploded. I think less defined, larger but thin and wispy clouds would fit this better.

Notwithstanding all critics... this is one of your highlight-renders for sure.

Best regards,
Frank

This reminds me quite a lot of geyser run-off areas in Yellowstone National Park (which I visited earlier this year). There are similar areas of large, slowly flowing water, interesting colors, and lots of evergreens around, surrounded by mountains. I agree with Frank however that the water going up into the tree line looks a bit off. Otherwise it's quite nice.

I really like the muddy, wet ground, but I would slightly raise the area where the trees are, like a 'coast'. They shouldn't have their feet in the water. And get some shrub in between the trees?

Definitely better Naoo,

Good that you kept the colours and the terrain but removed a few trees from the water.

Good work!
