here's one I'm having a hard time with!
In this version the buoy is too big an the boat looks wrong somehow.
I've tried crop rendering the buoy at a smaller size but the crop renders in completly different colours to the full image!
I suppose I'll re-render  the whole scene again overnight.
Any suggestions for the boat appreciated.

Try putting them both side by side to scale them. You can add a different camera for this, so you will not lose the camera position for he render.

Very nice work. The horizon seems to have a bit of curve; maybe reset the horizontal FOV from 60 to 50 to correct this. The light and atmosphere are beautiful. Agree about the buoy size when compared to the boat.

Beautiful colours!

Maybe decrease the clouds sharpness (closest to the camera)?

Like the setting and atmosphere.

It's not quite clear how far out on the point the lighthouse is, but the size of guard railings area suggests
how big a human might be in this scene. My impression is the lighthouse is bigger than human scale.

Not sure how valid this idea is, but I used a couple pieces of paper to line up the boat ends with
a vanishing point on the horizon so as to estimate how big the boat would appear if moved back a similar distance
as the Buoy. By that method the current boat is roughly as long as the buoy is tall, but the boom structures
on the boat suggest it ought to be a much larger object than any average buoy.

Thanks for the feed back folks. Working on improvements as I type!

Here's the final version, incorporating most of the suggestions mentioned.
Still got the slight curvature, but I can live with that!
Thanks for the input.

Credits as before (new sail boat came without info).

Nice work. I also like the lighthouse.

Dune

Your curve is the end of your lake object. You should make it bigger!

Hi

Beautiful Atmosphere

but is the size between boats and lighthouse correct?

Wow thats amazing, one thing im a little puzzled by is the reflection on the lake. Judging from the position of the sun im not sure how the reflections are visible directly underneath on the water?

On second thought im guessing its the light reflecting off the bottom of the clouds in which case it makes sence, ignore me.  ;D

Thanks, and it's just the reflection of the clouds. Does that make sense?
