Hi

It would be smart to set different colors for each population (bounding-boxes).
So you could assess the distribution well.

I agree with this suggestion, be it bounding boxes or wire frames. Great idea.

It's probably making TG even more complicated, but you have a point, although it would be best to be able to choose your color. I would like to add that for objects like buildings it is often desirable to be able to see from the wireframe whether it's under ground level or above (to check if a structure is not floating at one point in an undulating landscape, for instance), so a part of the wireframe in another color. But that's probably hard to implement.

Yes to both! User defined population and object pre-view colours and some sort of occlusion rendering to show when an object is hidden when below the surface or behind a terrain feature. I guess it would make the interface "heavier" but maybe it could be a toggle-able feature, just turn it on when needed.

i agree! i think it would be helpful, like when i'm using the painted shader, masking large area with solid white,
and i cant see/find/locate the bounding box's exact location

Yes, this would be a great feature. I now have to hide all other populations to isolate any one population for preview and it gets unwieldy when you get beyond a few populations in the same area.

Agreed, this would be nice. I'll add it to the feature request list. :)
