I couldn't find anything on Crytec's site. It is not quite the same editor as for the game it seems.
If you know anything please share it :)
The visuals are quite good. Wonder what kind of computer they used!

If you click on the Video link in the upper right here http://crytek.com/cryengine/cryengine3/downloads  you can see the 2009  presentation too.
2 years did make a serious impact on the visuals.

As i looked on their web page i found the Sponza Model .
You have probably seen it in a 3d demo somewhere already.
You can download it here for free with textures too and updated.

I am 100% confident I won't be able to do this on my P4 HT system :o 8) This really made my imagination run a little wild.

Forget Tuesday; It's just Monday spelled with a T

I think you need a pretty heavy GPU for this :P Looks awesome tho, I wonder how easy it is to build custom shaders to a thing like that..

Nice.

For a minute, I thought there was download of the engine...errr, not.    :D
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Holy Moly!

Have you all seen the scene with the girl walking through the alley? Jaw dropping for a *game* engine.

And realtime! I so wish for a better computer/card... And a few thousand going spare for the Cryengine 3! :D Ridiculous money.
I have the first engine's sandbox editor, included with Farcry, but it isn't a patch on the new one. I must buy Crysis, actually, I've never played it, I'm sure there's a sandbox editor for Cryengine 2 included with it...

rcallicotte

There's a Crysis 2 multiplayer demo out now.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

There is a sandbox editor for Cryengine 2 but i couldn't use it.
It crashed always here.
There are good custom made maps so there are guys who use it .
It is as it seems only my luck!

I brought 2 boxes of Crysis then when it came out .
But Crytek abandoned it so soon for Crysis Warhead it really made me angry!
If i buy Crysis 2 , it will be only when the price goes down in the future.

I play the demo of Crysis 2 on steam some times .
But it doesn't feel so much like Crysis to me.

Sorry , i feel better now :)
