Terragen for clouds in feature films

Hello everyone 

I'm new to Terragen and this forum. As part of my diploma thesis I try to analyze how clouds (cumulus) are being generated for feature films. Often inhouse-tools or a combination of Houdini and Maya are the tools of choise. At cgtalk someone pointed to Terragen and told me that it was used in Tron. I would like to know if somebody knows other feature films where Terragen was used to create the clouds. Any information is highly welcome

Hi Terragen was used to do many skies in GI JOE: Rise of Cobra

I think it was used in "Golden Compass" too.

TG2 was also used extensively in Sucker Punch. We'll be making an announcement about that shortly.

I used still renders of TG2 clouds and animated them in XSI for Golden Compass:

For The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus there were a mix of animated TG2 3D clouds and 360 cycloramas:

For 127 Hours there's a high side shot of a bank of storm cloud approaching the canyon he's trapped in which is all TG2 3D animated clouds.
