Sea of clouds (yeah, another, I know)

time to make another "Sea of Clouds" render... I thought.

The scene renders in 12 minutes with RT ON. Not too bad.

12 minutes, that's mighty fine

I like this image a lot, though it is very green here on my dell screen at work.

The billow fractal looks good, definitely in the middle section of the image.
Perhaps you could replace the foreground clouds by more detailed clouds or blend in a different fractal.

hmm... this looks totally different on my Mac vs. my PC. It's a lot less blown out on the mac display. Strange.

ah, now I know what you mean. No, although coincidentally I have taken a picture on my last flight  from Madrid of clouds similar to the ones rendered here. The original is still better though :/

last time, I had a great view on plane's lights on clouds !!!!
First time I see that, there was like four planes right above the clouds and their "front lights" gave the feeling that they were literally cars on road. awesome view
