I was just playing around, using power fractals for masks and displacing the results. Anyway here is an accident. I added the moon to balance the large rock spur. Rendered at detail 0.65 and AA 8. It only took 5.5 hours on my P4. Thank you Matt and Jo!

I changed the render detail to 0.75. The lighting is better. and the camera has been altered for a wider shot. The colors have been changed so they are less saturated.

This image has an retro scifi look I did not quite get in the first render.
