I've been using the free version for a while now. I just got the Deep version this weekend, so I modified this a bit and rendered it bigger. (I've used a modified version of dandelO's stones-2011. You can hardly see them from this far away, but they're there.)

great lakeside view, the clouds are a little harsh maybe?

Henry Blewer

Agree about the clouds. The lake and surrounding hills look very good. Try bring the atmosphere ambient light up to about 0.3. That will add some fill light to the shadowed areas.

Forget Tuesday; It's just Monday spelled with a T

Quite a nice image! I do think the clouds are a bit "ragged", but I rather like the subtle lighting as it is. Good work.

Very good scene. The clouds don't fit I guess. I would prefer a "calm" version...
Mouthwash? We don't need no stinking mouthwash!! [MI2]

very beautiful! I would just add bit of exposure. Other than that, it's a great scene!

What is the terrain? Procedural or DEM?

Cheers,
Frank

inkydigit

agree with Frank...lovely!

jamfull

Thank you.

The terrain is procedural.

Like Frank i would take the exposure slider just a little more to the bright side :)

Luc

Nice terrain and surfaces

Maybe it would look better after decrease the clouds coverage
