Hello everyone! This is the first image I post here, although I've been using TG2 for a little while.
Vegetation is from Xfrog and Walli.[attachthumb=#]

Wow, very, very nice, especially (but not only) for a first image post. This is really quite realistic. I think only the foreground vegetation being underexposed/a bit grey detracts some for me. In fact I could see upping the exposure being beneficial to the entire scene. But as far as vegetation distribution, terrain and texturing, it's really excellent as-is.

Wow, this is a very impressive render. The only thing that is strange to me is the tree population which is a bit too regular (only one tree and all the same size?). But as mentioned before: Really a great image! Keep it up!
Mouthwash? We don't need no stinking mouthwash!! [MI2]

awesome first post, welcome to the forum!
maybe a lake or river in the valley would be a nice addition?

This is good stuff! Welcome aboard. I agree that the tree population could be improved either by distibution changes or colour variations. But for a first posting it's incredibly good. Looking forward to updates and more.

Thank you very much everyone! There's really three different tree populations of varying sizes, but somehow one of them became really dominant. The hardest part I find is getting realistic light, I don't now how many hours I've spent just on trying different settings.

I've been really busy lately so I haven't had time for terragen, but I'll post here when I start on a new render.

thats already very nice and in case you saved as exr file, then some Photoshop work might be enough to bring it from very nice to veeeeeery nice!

Welcome and beautiful scene!
Else, I agree with Walli :)
