Here a new image. I hope you like it.

I am not sure about the clouds , but the rest is great  :)

Tons of trees is always cool.  I'd work on the shoreline a bit, though.  A few rocks against the water go a long way to making that boundary transition believable.

Great shot. The only things I think could be improved:
- the "beach"
- the water should be smoother
Mouthwash? We don't need no stinking mouthwash!! [MI2]

I think you should mix several tree types, as there is a pattern visible, like a carpet, mainly on the left flank. The rest looks good.

Thank you for your comments.

Here an update : I tried to improve the clouds, however there are some strange vertical strikes noticeable towards the left. Even with a quality of 1.5 it doesn't disappear.
Some rocks on the bed river, and less roughness for the water.

I will post an another update with some more trees variations.

Nice iteration :)

The artefacts in the clouds are likely because of the acceleration-cache.
You can probably reduce the quality (back) to 1 and set the acceleration-cache to none.

I don't know if you continue with this image, if so I have 2 little suggestions:
The stones are a bit large and miss surfacing/texturing.
The wavescale of the water is too large. You could try them 3-4x smaller and see how it looks.

Cheers,
Martin

Thanks Martin,

I followed your advice. The new image is in the rendering process, I will post it in 4 or 5 hours.

Here the final image. Thank you for your help.
